The district has enrolled in a 24/7 communication service that involves students, parents and community members to share in the maintenance of a safe learning environment. The district's website link to the Safe School Helpline www.safeschoolhelpline.com provides students with the opportunity to report an issue, including bullying, harassment, depression or drug or alcohol abuse, while remaining anonymous. A call on a touch-tone phone to 1-800-418-6423, ext.359 will allow the caller to leave information without identification. The message will be transcribed and faxed to our schools where our crisis team will take appropriate action. All information remains anonymous to encourage the reporting of all safety concerns. |
