1)  Q What is MyLearningPlan?
A
MyLearningPlan® is a web-based service for tracking Professional Development activities for k-12 school districts.
2)  Q Who is required to use My Learning Plan?
A
All school district employees who are required to keep track of professional development. This includes teachers holding a Professional Certification as well as Teacher Assistants holding a Level III certification.

Teaching Assistant Level III certifications requires 75 hours of professional development every 5 years.

Professional Teaching Certifications require 175 hours of professional development every 5 years.
3)  Q What about those teachers who hold a Professional Certification?
A
For those teachers who hold a professional certification, you must complete 175 hours of professional development every five years. The five year period begins July 1 of the year following the effective date of your Professional Certification. If you currently hold an Initial Certification, you are NOT required to complete the 175 hours until you receive your professional certification.

If you hold a Professional Certification in more than one content area, you are only required to complete a total 175 hours in a five year period.

The school district reports professional development on your behalf. However, you are required to keep all records of your professional development.
4)  Q How do I log in?

Your user name is your East Williston email address. Passwords where originally set up by the district. If you cannot remember your password, use the "I forgot my password" link. An email will be sent to your East Williston email address.
5)  Q When do I have to use it?
A
You should use MyLearningPlan for all professional development that your are required to keep track of or are seeking credit for. Anything you would normally submit to your PDSG representative.
6)  Q What if I forget my password?
A
The district does not have access to users passwords. therefore, if you forget your password simply click the "I forgot my password" link. An email will be sent to your East Williston email address.
7)  Q Where do I go for help?
A
If you have questions or difficulty using MyLearningPlan, you can see your PDSG representative. Otherwise you can speak to the educational Technology Specialist in your building.
8)  Q Where can I get more information about my Professional Development requirements?
A
