This is the second amandment but the rules have changed since then because back then there was no police men. A lot people all around the world are misusing guns. Last year in Califonia they had 1000-1300 deaths from firearms! I deffinetly agree with arvin that we should cut down on guns in the U.S. |
I learned that there was 500-1000 deaths by guns in america. Calififounia had 1000-1300 deaths by guns. I also learned that the second amandment has changed since then because now in days there is police protecting comunities. Unlike bck in the days the people needed to protect their towns. |
People are misusing guns by killing a lot of people and this is not just happening once it is happening every single day.
In Calilifornia 2010, 1000-1300 people died. In New york, there were 500-1000 murders in 2010. |
- Samuel Freidlander missused a weapon by killing his kids, wife, and himself, over a divorce.
- Hunting is a good use for bare arms - In New York, 500 to 1000 firearm murdurers in 2010 - California had 1000 to 13000 |
Arvins presentaion is the right to bare arms. The right to bare arms is the second ammendment. In Michigan and Louisiana both had about 100-500 deaths. Also in New York there were 500-1000 fire arm deaths and in California, in one year, approximatley 1000-1300 firearm deaths. Arvins powerpoint and speech was very pursausive and after hearing his point of few I realized Arvin really knew about his topic very well. I would have to say I completely agree with Arvin |
california has 1000-1300 death by guns a year
USA 3rd most death by guns 2010 people kill to get anger out |
Guns are dangerous and are often misused. In New York 500 1000 firearm deaths in 2010. Florida has no firearm related deaths in 2010. |
Josh's topic is on racial profiling. He has encounterd a situation when he saw a muzzelum person being stopped at an aiport security line just because this person looked a little funny. Josh felt sorry for this person and wanted to put a stop to this issue. ( Josh has been standing up there for a couple minuets not saying anything, he must feel pretty uncomfortable.) Since Josh has encountered this issue when he was young so he always was petrified when he was on a plane because he didnt know if there was a muzzelum person on the plane. Josh knew about his topic and very impressive facts to back up his reasons. I think he did a good job even though Arvin was tough to follow. |
Josh said that security guards only look for Muslim people and not look for Americans when they bomb places too.
Police conduct random back searches for people of different cultures. He says that we should not invade other people's privacy. Josh says that we should be accepting people of different cultures. |
Cops in NewYork city will stop you more if you have marinquga and if you are black.
Racial profiling also envades the civil rights that american citzens have. Invade people that guilty. |
Racial Profiling
-driving/walking while black for illegal drugs -brainwash young children into thinking that some people with different skin colors are bad -Everybody has a right not to be judged on their culture - should be more accepting of peoples cultures. |
it only a disctaartion for the real crimnals.
it brsainwashs kids to be scared of other races invades civl rights |

Sam mentioned that Capital Punishment is very expensive
Texas has some of the most death penalties, and more than afghanistan and Libya. If If they had a big criminal record they would die.The minimum is three kills and you get a death penalty. |
texas alone has more death penalties then afghanistan |
Capital punishment is very expensive.
Texas has the most death penaltiles in the USA. Someone who kills a cop is going to get the death penality. |
His inspiration was that a man was sent to death penalty and he also read an article about it. Sam also thinks that it is barbaric because it is saying that the government is going to kill you for killing someone. People think that what are we going to accomplish by doing this. Texas has more death penalty than Afganistan and Libya. The family member would probably want the person to have the death penalty. If someone has killed at least 3 people they would have a death penalty. I think really knew about his topic and he did very good. |
Texas has more death penalties than Afghanistan and Libya. |
Sam's presentations is on death penalties. In our state Texas has more death penalties then in Afghanistan. The govermant decides weather there should be a death penalty or not. Death penalty only happens when someone kills people multiple times. The only time you would really want someone to die is when they kill your family member. |
Steven is doing same sex marriage. I think it is very shocking that in some parts of the worlds they give people the death penalty for having same sex marriage. I think people should be able to choose what to do with their life and who they love and want to marry. "We all deserve the freedom to marry" as said on a sign in the powerpoint. |
Only parts of New York only allow gay marriage.
In Mexico, same-sex marriage are preformed in Mexico City. There is a rejection of the use of the word "marriage" to people that think it should be legal. |
You can spend life in prison for being the same sex marriage in Pakistan and few other country. There are few states in the U.S. that allow same sex marriage. In Brazil, a same sex couple has to go to a state judge for civil approval. The APA believes that it is unfair to deny same sex marriage. |
Stephen's presentation is on same sex marriage. In our state its mostly legal to marry your own sex but in Africa and some parts of Asia you could be killed or be sentenced to life for marrying the same gender. The only reason same sex marriage would be illegal i for religous reasons. Apparently being able to marry your own gender is a "privilege". |
There are parts of the world that you get a death penalty for marrying your same gender.
People believe that homosexuals are possessed by demons. |
