There was a prophecy that Percy got from the oracle of Delfi. I think the first line of the prophecy means Percy will face Hades in the west. Percy will find the stolen lightning bolt and safely return it to Zeus. The third line of the prophecy means he will be betrayed by Luke.The last line means he will not save his mother from the underworld. This is what I think the prophecy means. |
When the oracle says " You shall go west an face the god who turned. You shall find what was stolen and see it safely returned. You shall be betrayed by one who calls you a friend.
And you shall fail to save what matters most, in the end." First, I think he will go west and face the god who has turned Second, I think Percy will find the lightning bolt and have it returned. Third, I think one of his friends will betray him. Lastly, I think he will he will not save someone. That is what the prophecy means. |
I think the oracle is telling Percy that he must go and return the lightning bolt to Zeus no matter what it takes. Someone who has a good relationship with percy will betray him. I think he will loose his mom's soul to Hades! |
